The theme for Fundamental 2013 was TUNE IN.

The following is the process of the making of the official Fundamental T-shirt design for the fest.

Firstly, we had to design a T-shirt keeping in mind the Theme.

We had to see to it that the whole of the Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) was put into one composition.

All the people and elements found around the college are put into one complete design.

After an hour of brain storming and doodling, we finalized the following drawing.

The drawing was a good choice because it had elements from our Communication Department, Fashion Design and Fashion Communication Department, Product Design Department, Film and Video Department, Artists and Dreamers. 

After that, I got down to making the line art on photoshop. took some time... it did :D

If you notice carefully, the girl in the bottom has my name on her hand bag.

I removed a letter later so that it didnt become too conspicuous.

Once I was satisfied with the line art, I had to choose the colours for the design.

To minimize the cost-per-piece of the T-shirt, it was wise not to use more than five colors.

We chose the following colors_ Blue, Dark Blue, Chrome Yellow, Light Yellow, Black.

The following colour we chosen keepin in mind the theme colors of Fundamental Fest TUNE IN 2013

ie_ Blue and Yellow.

Once the colours were decides and put together to get a pleasant compostion, the design was shown to the Core Team (Fest Managers) for their approval. 

The design was given a green signal and we proceded to check it out by placing it on coloured T-shirts.

The black T-shirt was finalized and sent for Printing.
